The handi-reacher is an ultra lightweight, robust reach that will assist those with restricted and or mobility problems. The reacher jaws can be rotated 360 degrees so there is no need to twist the wrist, which may be painful to certain users and a single moving jaw that is trigger operated from the handle. The head also comes complete with a fitted magnet for picking up small metal objects such as pins and a hook to aid dressing. All four fingers are used to grip and operate the trigger instead of the usual two. The handi-reacher is available in three sizes, AA8054Y standard 613mm (24") weighing 180g, AA80567Y long 766mm (30") weighing 200g and AA8058Y X-long 894mm (35") weighing 220g.
